Changing and reinventing the marketing industry can be a hard job in itself but we’re intent on doing so in an ethical way, we’re in the process of putting our full ethical policy together.

We’re the only agency to outline our ethics, how we treat clients and staff and our financials. We hope it’ll ignite change in how companies operate. It’s time for change.

General Principles

Goetz and Sarfati and its employees will always demonstrate the highest levels of integrity, creativeness and honesty. We promise to operate in a competent, efficient and fair manner while also factoring in the environmental cost of operating.

Goetz and Sarfati is required to consider the environmental impact of all its operations. We are required to provide grants and have set a goal of being carbon neutral within 2 years. We are required to offset carbon for every project.


Goetz and Sarfati understands the need to be transparent and open with clients. It’s why we have our Client Charter that outlines our approach and importance on client relations.


Suppliers will be chosen based on factors such as delivery, service, and integrity. Goetz and Sarfati’s choice of suppliers will be made objectively. Honesty and openness will be paramount in our dealings with suppliers.


Goetz and Sarfati will build its reputation on the basis of its performance alone. It will compete vigorously and lawfully and will not compete unfairly with others. It will not seek to damage the reputation of its competitors either directly or by implication.

Government, Regulators, and Legislators

Goetz and Sarfati will seek to comply with all international, national, and local legislation affecting its operations. It will strive to follow the best practice in corporate governance. It will meet its tax obligations. It will not make any financial contributions or offer support to any political party.

Giving and Receiving Gifts and Entertainment

Gotez and Sarfati and its employees will neither seek nor accept for themselves or others any gifts, favours, or entertainment without a legitimate purpose from any person or business organisation that does or seeks to do business with, or is a competitor of Goetz and Sarfati. Gifts, favours, and entertainment may be given to others at the expense of the company as long as these are consistent with customary business practice and are not excessive in value.

Bribes and Corrupt Practice

Goetz and Sarfati does not allow the direct or indirect offer, payment, solicitation, or acceptance of bribes in any form. We make it clear that any employee found to be involved in any kind of corrupt practice will be immediately dismissed pending investigation and may well have committed a criminal act which could lead to prosecution.
