freightflows

Rallying early adopters to disrupt SHIPPING.

FreightFlows is a data-driven maritime company that harnesses machine learning and AI for smarter shipping decisions. We worked with them to develop a future-forward brand in an industry ripe for disruption.

challenge

Maritime shipping is a relationship-driven industry that is skeptical of a data-driven approach. As the world moves digital, how do we make the case for tech that enhances relationships while making business more efficient and equitable?

INSIGHT

To disrupt an established industry, knowing your most receptive audience is key. Figure out if you’re winning over skeptics or attracting early adopters, then sharpen your brand’s focus to match.

IMPACT

Instead of aiming for the establishment, we focused on attracting early adopters. We designed a tech-forward brand and website that re-imagines the future of shipping.

01 / Strategy

Finding the right audience to overcome skepticism.

Although ship GPS and port data are readily available, moving goods today feels more like guesswork. FreightFlows’ solution aggregates and analyzes data, so merchants and ship owners can find the most efficient routes at the optimal price.

Not everyone is ready for change, especially if new technology threatens livelihoods, but there are always early adopters who can see the upside. Our brand strategy centers on inviting people who already see the vision to partner with FreightFlows and bring their technology to market.

02/ Minimum viable branding

Reimagining the future of maritime shipping.

Focus is everything for a startup, with limited time and money to get their product into the market and gain traction. We develop a brand for an audience ready to embrace new technology.

The visual brand reflects a future-forward tech company differentiated from other solutions. We highlighted the power of data science and built a strong case for machine learning to transform global trade.
