FERMAT COMMERCE

Launching Revolutionary e-commerce for content creators.

Online shopping is always evolving, but one experience hasn’t changed in two decades – the affiliate link program. Fermat Commerce is meeting this challenge with a shopping tool that seamlessly connects creators and brands and gives back control over their data.

challenge

Fermat had a closing window of opportunity to grab content creators’ attention. They needed to quickly clarify their unique offering, rally excitement, and get creators to sign up so they could start the business strong.

INSIGHTS

When launching a category-defying new product, first impressions are everything. To position it well, we had to identify the deeper problem content creators face and clearly demonstrate how Fermat can help – by empowering them to grow their business with their own data.

OUTCOME

Fermat’s brand and website are designed to get creators excited and show them a new alternative to big tech. The website's goal was to get creators interested, but it far exceeded expectations. By the time creators contacted Fermat, they were already sold.

“We are a new company that needed to accomplish two things: sharing information about our product through a website and getting early sign ups from creators. The website Giant Shoulders created worked really well, and our email responses and sign-ups increased dramatically after we went live.”

01 / Go-to-Market Strategy

Seizing the opportunity for audience connection

Fermat is introducing a whole new category of software that’s neither e-commerce nor affiliate program. This shopping interface between content creators and brands removes the middleman and empowers users with data and meaningful relationships.

Fermat had a limited window of opportunity to launch this new business model. We worked with them to craft a creator-first launch strategy to generate excitement, build a critical mass of interested content creators, and create momentum.

02 / Brand Positioning

Establishing credibility with the right amount of branding

A strong first impression is everything. A startup like Fermat needs to move quickly to position themselves and maximize their credibility. Using our Minimum Viable Branding process, we helped them craft a brand that speaks to part time creators with full time dreams. We positioned Fermat as a brand that understands their desires, their challenges, and the future they want for themselves. We drew inspiration from consumer product branding to create a friendly, empowering image and an informative website that focuses on putting power back in the hands of creators.

03 / Design & Website

Designing a website that exceeds expectations

The original goal was to create a website that gets people interested enough to book a sales call, but since its launch, it has done more. The website tells such a compelling story and explains the product so clearly, that by the time potential customers make the call, they’re already sold. As the website continues to build a list of excited creators, it will lay a solid foundation for the next phase of reaching out to future affiliate partners.

“The biggest thing that I believe is true in business is what you say and do externally and internally must match. Giant Shoulders helped us craft our brand narrative – not just as an external thing but as a lived set of principles. I already have recommended Giant Shoulders to other early-stage businesses.”

Rishabh Jain, CEO of Fermat Commerce
